This also aligns perfectly with my career pathway
as this programme will help me grow an understanding
of the teamwork and communication required of a
digital-related internship, which I am confident I
will be able to give. I also believe I will be the
perfect candidate to this industry as an intern as I
have tons of brilliant experiences shown above of
the level of expertise I am able to perform
Lastly, if there aren't any cybersecurity-related
internships, I am more than happy to be put in a
place in an IT field as I can adapt to new
environments easily and be able to build a
foundation of IT skills, which is required for
cybersecurity as well.
I want this opportunity to kickstart my career, and if it
is possible, potentially get invited back to the company
that offered the internship and get a part-time or
full-time job. As a student wanting to get into the
cybersecurity field, there are no official courses related
to cybersecurity in college. This means that if I do get
an internship similar to my expectations, I want to walk
away from this programme with a brand new perspective and
connections with other people.
